Location: Northampton, NN1
Salary: 130-200+ per day dependent on experience
Contract Type: full-time or part-time available
Start Date: ASAP
About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated EYFS SEND Teacher to join our supportive and inclusive early years setting. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH) during their crucial early development stages.
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality, tailored learning experiences that support each child’s individual needs, ensuring they thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the EYFS framework
- Support children with a range of SEND, including ASD, speech and language needs, and developmental delays
- Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and targeted interventions
- Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCO, and external professionals
- Monitor, assess, and record children’s progress effectively
- Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working within Early Years (EYFS)
- Proven experience supporting children with SEND
- Strong understanding of inclusive teaching strategies
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A patient, compassionate, and flexible approach
Desirable
- Additional SEND qualifications or training
- Experience working with EHCPs
- Knowledge of behaviour support strategies

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
