EYFS SEN Teaching Assistants – Lancaster (LA1)

Are you a caring and enthusiastic Early Years professional looking to make a real difference? We are working with some welcoming primary schools in LA1 seeking a dedicated EYFS SEN Teaching Assistants to join their friendly team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support young learners at a key stage of their development within a nurturing and inclusive Early Years environment.

✨ The Role:

  • Supporting children within EYFS, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
  • Providing 1:1 and small group support
  • Helping to create a safe, positive and engaging learning environment
  • Encouraging children’s development, independence and confidence

✅ The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have experience working with children in EYFS
  • Have a passion for supporting children with additional needs
  • Be patient, nurturing and proactive
  • Work well as part of a team

A Level 3 Childcare qualification is desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
