About the Role

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a highly regarded village primary school in the PR3 area to recruit a committed and nurturing EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant for a September start.

This is a full-time opportunity supporting a child within Early Years, where you will play a vital role in their development, learning and emotional wellbeing.

You will be joining a school where staff are valued, supported, and genuinely passionate about pupil progress.


Your Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 tailored support for a pupil with additional needs in EYFS
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and differentiated learning
  • Support the child with communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation
  • Help maintain a positive, structured, and safe classroom environment
  • Monitor progress and provide feedback to staff and SENCo

✅ The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with EYFS and/or SEN (desirable)
  • Has a Level 3 Childcare/EYFS qualification or equivalent (desirable but not essential)
  • Is patient, caring, and resilient
  • Can build strong, trusting relationships with children
  • Is proactive and able to use their own initiative
  • Has a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
