EYFS Qualified Teaching Assistant – S10 and Surrounding Areas
Start Date: September 2025
Location: Sheffield – S10 and surrounding areas
Contract Type: Full-time and Part-time roles available
Pay: Competitive – £90-£110 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a number of welcoming and inclusive Primary Schools in the S10 area of Sheffield and nearby locations. We are seeking Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) specialists who are enthusiastic, nurturing, and ready to make a lasting impact on young learners’ development.
The Role
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support children in Nursery and Reception settings with their early development and learning
- Work alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities
- Provide one-to-one and small group support where necessary
- Promote a safe, stimulating and supportive learning environment
- Monitor and record pupil progress in line with the EYFS framework
What We’re Looking For
- A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years or Teaching Assistant qualification
- Recent experience working in an EYFS setting (within the last 2 years preferred)
- A solid understanding of the EYFS curriculum and safeguarding practices
- Strong communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude
- Enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
