Role: EYFS Practitioner
Location: Speke (L24)
Start Date: October 2025
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: £13.75 - £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)
We are currently seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and experienced Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Practitioner to join a welcoming and vibrant nursery setting in Speke this October 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for working with young children to make a meaningful impact in their early development.
You will be working closely with children aged 0-5, supporting their learning, play, and development in a safe and nurturing environment.
Your role will involve:
- Planning and delivering stimulating, age-appropriate activities that promote learning and curiosity
- Supporting children's emotional, personal, and social development
- Monitoring and assessing individual progress, completing observations and learning journals
- Creating a positive, inclusive atmosphere where every child feels valued and supported
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and parents/carers to support children’s development
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous experience working with early years children (e.g. in nurseries, childminding, social care, or similar roles)
- A warm, patient, and nurturing approach to childcare
- A solid understanding of EYFS principles and child development
- A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)
- Relevant childcare qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Early Years) are desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
