Role: EYFS Nursery Teaching Assistant
Hours: Full-time
An outstanding Camden Primary School (NW1) is looking for a candidate to work as a Nursery Teaching Assistant. The role will include staff lead interventions as well as child lead activities - with the 25 children in this class. Candidates would need to be able to lead activities and create a nurturing environment for the young children to grow and develop effectively.
The school is located in Camden, a 5 minute walk from Camden town tube station and is ideal for anyone who lives locally or would like a short commute. This school has recently moved into a brand new build in the heart of Camden, and has been part of the major regeneration within the borough. It is a 1 ½ form entry school which is continuously growing, and they're looking for someone to join their amazing school family!
Desired qualities are…
- A minimum of CACHE Level 3 Qualification
- Early childhood studies degree
- Experience of Phonics
- At least 6 months experience in a Nursery or EYFS environment
Suitable candidates should be able to support the teacher in implementing the curriculum and aiding classroom activities. Candidates should also be able to create a fun, engaging and safe learning environment for this outstanding school.
