EYFS Learning Support Assistant – Aylesbury (Full Time, ASAP Start)
Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
Contract Type: Full-time (Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:15pm)
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £85–£95 per day (depending on experience)
Teaching Personnel are working closely with a welcoming and nurturing Primary School in Aylesbury who are seeking a dedicated EYFS Learning Support Assistant to join their Early Years team as soon as possible.
This is a full-time, long-term position, supporting pupils within the Reception class to help them develop academically, socially, and emotionally during this key stage of their learning journey.

The Role:

Supporting children in the EYFS setting (Nursery and Reception age).

Assisting with learning activities, play-based learning and daily routines.

Supporting individual pupils, including those with additional needs.

Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to promote engagement and progress.

Encouraging independence, curiosity and positive behaviour in the classroom.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
-
Experience working with young children in an EYFS or early years setting (school or nursery).

A warm, patient and caring approach to working with children.
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
-
An understanding of the EYFS framework and early childhood development.
-
A relevant childcare or teaching assistant qualification (Level 2 or Level 3) is desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
