EYFS Learning Support Assistant – Aylesbury (Full Time, ASAP Start)

Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
Contract Type: Full-time (Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:15pm)
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £85–£95 per day (depending on experience)

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a welcoming and nurturing Primary School in Aylesbury who are seeking a dedicated EYFS Learning Support Assistant to join their Early Years team as soon as possible.

This is a full-time, long-term position, supporting pupils within the Reception class to help them develop academically, socially, and emotionally during this key stage of their learning journey.

The Role:

  • Supporting children in the EYFS setting (Nursery and Reception age).

  • Assisting with learning activities, play-based learning and daily routines.

  • Supporting individual pupils, including those with additional needs.

  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to promote engagement and progress.

  • Encouraging independence, curiosity and positive behaviour in the classroom.


The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience working with young children in an EYFS or early years setting (school or nursery).

  • A warm, patient and caring approach to working with children.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • An understanding of the EYFS framework and early childhood development.

  • A relevant childcare or teaching assistant qualification (Level 2 or Level 3) is desirable but not essential.
