Teaching Personnel are currently seeking an enthusiastic and nurturing EYFS Teacher for a welcoming primary school in Wells, starting in September 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Early Years practitioner to support pupils through the important transition from Reception into Year 1, while also playing a key role in welcoming and settling the new EYFS cohort.

The successful candidate will:

• Have previous experience teaching within EYFS
• Be confident supporting transition between Reception and Year 1
• Create a positive, engaging and supportive learning environment
• Be proactive, adaptable and committed to high-quality early years education
• Be prepared to support the onboarding and settling-in of the new cohort for 2026

What’s on offer:

• Daily pay between £125 - £150 per day, depending on experience
• Opportunity for a long-term position
• No planning responsibilities required at this stage
• Support from a dedicated Teaching Personnel consultant

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service is desirable
• Safeguarding training is mandatory

• Background and reference checks

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
