Salary: £100-£180 a day depending on experience
Role: Year 2 Class Teacher 

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity? A school in Rossendale, is seeking a passionate educator to join their team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners within a supportive and inspiring school environment. The school is two formed entry, and each class has a Teaching Assistant.

The Role:

• Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that supports the development of every child.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.
• Assess, monitor, and track student progress to ensure high levels of achievement.
• Promote a love of learning and encourage pupils to reach their full potential.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experienced Teachers and ECTs are welcome to apply. 
• Experience teaching in KS1, preferably in Year 2.
• Has previously had experience teaching high quality Phonics.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality education and pastoral care.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire young learners.
• A proactive and positive approach to teaching and learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
