EXAMS OFFICER - CHORLEY

* January 2020 - July 2020 (view to go permanent) 

Have you had experience as an Exams Officer? If so, Emily at Teaching Personnel wants to hear from you!


An 'Outstanding' secondary school in Chorley is looking to appoint an Exams Officer, until Easter 2020.
The ideal candidate will have excellent administrative skills with intermediate or advance Microsoft Office skills particularly in Word and Excel. They will have high levels of accuracy and attention to detail and be able to work in an organised and independent manner. Experience is working with in a team is essential and they will need to have the ability to lead a team of invigilators.


** Experience of working in a school is desirable with experience of working with the external examination process.
Duties will include:-
* To oversee the exams process with faultless precision
* Ensure entries are in place to managing invigilators and from working with exam boards to overseeing access arrangements, you will be charged with making a crucial part of the school work smoothly.
* To advise on the organisation, administration and conduct of internal and external examinations.
* To build and maintain the whole school examination timetable, as well as timely issuing of individual timetables to student candidates for all external exams.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
