English Tutor: Wolsinham

TP Tutors are looking for an English tutor to support a secondary school in Wolsingham, 2 days per week, starting ASAP. 

Role

  • Tutor of English to students in groups of up to 1:6.

Hours: 

  • 2 full days per week.

Pay: 

  • £25-£30 an hour depending on group sizes.

Location: 

  • In person.

Responsibility: 

  • Plan, deliver and report quality lessons to students in KS3 and KS4.

Length of contract: 

  • Flexible for short or long term as sessions run in 15 weeks blocks and are frequently reviewed to continue.

Essential qualifications and experience: 

  • UK recognised QTS with a specialism in English plus experience teaching the National Curriculum and AQA/Edexcel exam boards.
  • Tutors must be able to think on their feet and rise to the challenge of tutoring different ability students’ session to session.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
