English Graduate Teaching Assistant - Stockport

English Graduate – Stockport

A Secondary school in Stockport are looking to appoint an English graduate as a teaching assistant to start full time in the new academic year. Teaching Personnel work in partnership with the secondary school to help recruit for any staffing requirements. The school are looking for an enthusiastic, bright and ambitious English graduate who can help inspire the pupil’s lives.

Ideally the school are looking to appoint an English graduate who has experience with children or young adults and a graduate who has further ambitions to become an English teacher. The role of the English graduate will involve working closely with the department head and helping raise attainment within the classroom. The position will involve working on a 1:1 basis with students providing support and assistance within the classroom. The position will initially be on a temporary basis initially for the first term with the chances of the role to become permanent. Any English graduate who is successful will gain valuable experience which will help any graduate further progress into becoming a qualified teacher.

• Chances to earn up to £300 per week, dependent on experience

The successful English graduate will be working in a supportive environment where they will be helped to progress further in their career. The school is situated in a vibrant and progressive area, in the South of Manchester.
