*The school are looking for an outstanding FQT, or an NQT with the potential to become an excellent Teacher, to join their English faculty on a full-time, long-term basis. *
A highly ranked secondary school in Central Cardiff is looking for an excellent Teacher of English to take on a full-time teaching role from September. You will be joining the well-established English faculty, where staff are forward thinking and aim to create an inclusive and creative environment for all their pupils.
The school are looking for a teacher to…
- Plan, prepare and deliver a timetable of engaging and relevant English Literature and Language lessons for KS3, KS4, and occasionally KS5.
- Work as part of the wider English department to deliver the National Curriculum.
- Carry out additional pastoral duties including parent’s evenings, marking etc.
- Develop, deliver, and promote this key subject area within the school.

**An Enhanced Child Only DBS (Update Service) and EWC Registration are required for this role, as well as QTS with a relevant English degree and/or English Teaching experience. **
