Join Our Team as an English Teacher – South Liverpool

Are you a passionate and fully qualified English teacher ready to inspire the next generation of learners? Teaching Personnel is currently working with a number of welcoming and well-established secondary schools across South Liverpool seeking experienced English educators for long-term placements starting in September 2025 – with the potential for permanent opportunities.

The Role:

  • Start Date: September 2025

  • Location: South Liverpool

  • Contract: Long-term with possible permanent conversion

  • Key Stages: KS3 & KS4 (KS5 experience advantageous but not essential)

  • Subject: English Language and Literature

We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK

  • A proven track record of successful English teaching in a secondary setting

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • A commitment to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment

  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
