English Teacher required in Chorley School from September

Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of an 11-16 co-educational standalone academy school based in Chorley. Chorley has excellent transport links and the school is within easy reach of the M6, M61 and M65.

The school are seeking a Teacher of English to join their vibrant, dynamic and extremely successful English team.

The position would suit an experienced practitioner with a proven track record and experience of the new GCSE's in English Language and Literature, but they would also welcome applications from NQTs/RQTs. The school has a bespoke NQT and RQT programme in place. New staff to the school will join a vibrant workforce, where there is lots going on, from school musicals and drama productions, to a multitude of sporting activities and social activities organised by staff for staff.

The school are seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of English who wants to enhance students education. They will be expected to plan and deliver high quality English lessons across KS3/4 and will be responsible for the marking of all students work.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake a criminal record check via the Disclosure and Barring Service as well as qualification and reference checks.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
