English Teacher – Peterlee

English specialist to KS4 required for a long-term placement within a secondary school based in Peterlee.

The school have requested a strong teacher of Literature and Language who would be available on a long-term basis, with the view to continuing until Easter at a minimum.

This is a role that will entail teaching a number of KS3 and GCSE classes, preparing students for their assessments, ensuring that they make their expected progress.

• Role commencing after October half-term
• Delivering the English curriculum to Key Stages 3&4, ensuring that students steadily progress in their studies
• Pay rates ranging from GBP600 to GBP800 a week
• Possibility of being offered a fixed-term contract (at the discretion of the school)
• Producing assessments and classwork to evaluate the progression of students, formulating steps to take to ensure each student achieves their targets
