We are currently looking to recruit a qualified English teacher for a large Behaviour Unit in Fulford, York.
The school are looking to recruit a qualified English Specialist to join this supportive and forward thinking provision. The role is due to commence in either January 2018, for one term or until the exam period; with a focus on raising attainment across both Key Stages 3 and 4. The role will involve working with small groups, on a 1:1 basis, as well as full classroom teaching; up to 12 students at a time.
The ideal candidate will possess a true passion for education and the ability to create and deliver stimulating and rewarding lessons. A commitment to academic excellence across the ability range through progressive teaching and learning styles is required.
The school in question is making excellent progress with their reputation and exam results and are looking to build upon their recent success.

Teaching Personnel requirements: * QTS or Overseas equivalent * Evidence of strong behaviour management skills * Track record of good teaching ability and planning/preparing lessons * Commitment to develop the personality, talents and abilities of all students * Confident and positive approach to working with children * Are pro-active team members, committed to raising standards and achievement? * Have a strong and creative teaching ability * Keen to learn and develop professionally * Have a passion for education * NQT's are very welcome to apply * A current Child Only DBS registered with the update service or a DBS application done through Teaching Personnel
