Due to a sudden sickness in the English department, a secondary school in the north of Nottingham are looking for an experienced English teacher to cover the absence. This role will be long term running up until at least October half term. The required teacher will need to teach English to GCSE level so experience teaching this level is essential. You will also be required to plan, deliver and mark the work of the students whilst the permanent member of staff is absent.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a minimum of 1 years experience teaching English in a UK school at secondary level
- Be able to commit to a long term role on a permanent basis, to start in September 2020
- Have a respectful and professional manner towards pupils and staff within the school
All candidates MUST have:
- A Teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS/PGCE)
- The right to work within the UK
- The ability to provide two references from your most recent employers

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
