Our client secondary school in Luton are currently looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic English teacher to join an already successful department.

The School;

  • 77% of students achieved grades 9-4 in their GCSE English qualifications
  • Student progress is supported by the hard work and commitment of well qualified staff who set high expectations to enable every child to succeed
  • Staff passionate about improving all aspects of the school for the benefit of every pupil
  • Have successfully driven improvement over the last three years, including boosting the academic performance of pupils
    • They always strive to appoint the very best teachers and once in post they provide a workplace environment that ensures their needs are fully met now and in the future.
    • Parents/ carers, students, staff, governors, community groups and friends all work together to ensure that students enjoy their learning journey and achieve some exceptional outcomes

About the role;

  • Temporary to Permanent position teaching English at key stages 3, 4 & 5
  • Achieving daily rate between GBP125 -GBP180 per day
  • There is an opportunity to make this position permanent for the ideal candidate
  • A position that goes beyond the classroom – an opportunity to join a wider community
  • Be passionate about English Literature, instil a fascination in students with dynamic, creative learning experiences.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
