English Teacher or English NQT - Easter 2019

Are you an English Teacher or English NQT seeking a new challenge in an Ofsted graded 'Good' school?

We are seeking a full time English Teacher to join our client school in Oldham for a long term position starting after the Easter holidays.

• Full time position for an English Teacher or Newly Qualified Teacher of English
• Long term position starting after Easter with the opportunity of a permanent contract at the end of the academic year
• Full timetable of KS3 and GCSE English classes with full departmental responsibilities of planning and marking
• Paid up to £39,406 in line with teaching scale point (MPS/UPS)

The successful candidate will either be a strong English Teacher with experience teaching English to KS3 and KS4 level, or alternatively applications from English NQT's would be considered if they show the determination and potential to become outstanding English Teachers in the future. The role would involve working with a wide variety of age groups so the English teacher must be adaptable in their approach to teaching in an aim to raise attainment across all age groups in the school.

The school is graded 'good' by Ofsted and require a high quality teacher of English or NQT to continue their traditions of delivering high results and upholding a strong reputation in the community. Located a short distance from Oldham Athletic Football ground, the school has state of the art facilities and a strong support structure set in place for the incoming English teacher or newly qualified teacher of English.
