English Teacher - Oldham

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of our client secondary school in Oldham, who would like an English teacher to join their staffing team from Easter 2019. This is a fantastic opportunity to take the next step in your career at a 'Good' secondary school in Oldham. This role is due to an internal promotion in the school, and will last until the end of the academic year in the first instance.

  • Full time Teacher of English from Easter 2019
  • Until the end of the academic year in the first instance
  • Ofsted graded 'Good' secondary school
  • Pay in line with MPS (ÂŁ23,720-ÂŁ39,406)
  • Teaching English up to GCSE level

Our client secondary school is a large oversubscribed academy with over 1200 students enrolled from the local areas of Lees and Springhead. In recent years, the school has been recognised as being one of the most improved academies in the UK. Located a short drive from the M60 motorway and having good public transport links, this 'Good' school is easily accessible from a range of areas.

Working as an English teacher at this secondary school, prospective candidates should be able to plan and deliver highly engaging lessons to a range of learners with different needs. Candidates will be expected to be able to teach both English Language and English Literature to GCSE level, as well as holding QTS in the UK with relevant qualifications.
