Are you a motivated and enthusiastic Science teacher?

  • The position: Secondary Science Teacher (KS3/KS4)
  • Pay scale: Negotiable to reflect MPS/UPS 
  • Required in September 2021 for a maternity cover

Teaching Personnel are currently are looking to recruit a passionate Science teacher for a client secondary academy in Darlington. This role is full-time and provides the opportunity to gain experience and training. The role is open to both experienced and NQTs. If sucsessful, you will be required in September 2021 for a maternity cover.

The ideal candidate:

Will:

  • Be able to commit to a long-term role (Maternity cover from September) 
  • Have a respectful and professional manner towards pupils and staff within the school
  • Be passionate and inspiring
  • Teach all Sciences to KS3/KS4 
  • Have high expectations of work and behaviour
  • Biology specialism preffered however not essential 

Must:

  • Hold qualified teacher status – (we welcome NQT applications)
  • Have experience working with KS3 and KS4 children
  • The right to work within the UK
  • The ability to provide two references from your most recent employers
  • All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid child workforce Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
