Are you an English Teacher requiring a position from January?

I work closely with an Accrington based secondary school who are seeking two English Teachers from January for a long term maternity covers. One of the positions is two days a week, the other position is four days a week. These days may be negotiable. The School is ofsted judged 'Good' and the behaviour in School is exemplary.

The School is based close to Accrington and has close links to the M65 motorway and is accessible via public transport. The School is smaller than average and has a welcoming feel!

The candidate must be suitably qualified, have experience delivering KS3/4 English and ideally will have a proven track record for raising attainment as the School is pushing for 'Outstanding' status. The candidate must be flexible, willing to initially work on a supply basis and have strong classroom management skills.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

- negotiable rates of pay dependant on experience (£100-150 per day)

- Delivering English to high achieving pupils
