Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit an English teacher on a 12 month fixed contract to cover a maternity gap within an excellent English department in a client school in Bolton from September.
- English Teacher - 12 Month Placement
- Teaching both KS3 and GCSE students of mixed abilities
- Can expect pay in line with MPS/UPS - £22,917 - £38,633
- Ofsted rated 'Good' school based in Bolton
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a high achieving school; you will be joining an English department where you will receive full support from the head of department and other staff members. The successful English teacher must be confident teaching students of varying abilities, have a good track record of boosting results and inspiring learning amongst students. You will be taking on a full time role so you will be taking on full lesson planning and marking responsibilities.
This Ofsted 'good' rated school is constantly improving; the attainment of students has risen every year for the last four years and is above the national average. High-ability students are being given more opportunities to reach their potential.
Our client school is an 11-16, mixed community comprehensive school situated on the border of Bolton and Wigan within Bolton Council's boundaries. The school is average in size with around 1000 pupils on roll, of which the majority of children are of white British heritage. The number of pupils with learning difficulties or a statement for special needs is below the national average. Located on the outskirts of Bolton, the School is easily accessible as it is only a short drive from the M61 and has direct transport links to the surrounding areas; Bury, Wigan, Chorley, Salford and Wigan.
