Due to an upcoming requirement in their English department, our client secondary in Oldham are looking to appoint a qualified English teacher for a September 2018 start.

This is an excellent opportunity for any English teachers looking to join a collaborative and innovative department who looking to build on recent successes in their department. Since the appointment of the Headteacher in 2017, the standards of teaching and learning have climbed year on year and the behaviour of pupils has risen along with it.
The school is larger than most secondary schools with nearly 1500 students currently enrol from the local areas such as Moorside, Lees and Springhead with the school serving a rich and diverse catchment area. Staff and students can benefit from a modern setting with state-of-the-art facilities throughout with outstanding provisions for learning.
The incoming English teacher will be responsible for the delivery of their specialist subject across an 11-16 cohort, including full class teaching and small group intervention. There will be the requirement of the incoming English teacher to assume full responsibility for their groups including the planning and marking schemes of work. The school are happy and willing to support the induction of newly qualified English teachers and will provide CPD to any level of experience.
