English Teacher – Secondary (York)
Are you a passionate English teacher looking for your next opportunity? We’re seeking a dedicated Secondary English Teacher to join schools across York on either a full-time basis or day-to-day, temporary cover.
Location: York
Pay: £160 – £220 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Flexible – day-to-day supply or longer-term placements
What we’re looking for:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Strong subject knowledge in English Language & Literature
-
Experience teaching KS3–KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)

Enthusiasm for engaging students and inspiring a love of learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
