Are you a passionate and adaptable English Teacher looking to make a difference across a variety of secondary schools in the Wirral area? Teaching Personnel is seeking a committed educator to deliver high-quality English lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils, with opportunities to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

About the Role:

This is a flexible teaching opportunity, ideal for someone who enjoys variety and is confident teaching across different school environments. Previous experience working with students with SEN needs is desriable however what matters most is your enthusiasm, resilience, and ability to inspire students of all abilities. You will deliver high-quality English lessons that are inclusive, engaging, and tailored to meet the diverse needs of students, particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The teacher will play a key role in supporting students’ literacy development, fostering a love for literature and language, and ensuring all learners make progress in line with their potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4.
  • Adapt lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners, including those with SEN.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with school staff to support student progress and wellbeing.

Ideal Candidate:

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
  • Experience with SEN students (preferred but not essential).
  • Flexible, reliable, and confident working across multiple school settings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
