About the role

English Teacher KS3/4

Location – St Austell

Contract Type – Temporary, Part Time (13 hours)

Working Hours – Monday & Friday (8:30am – 3:30pm)

Starting – 22.09.25

Ending – 10.10.25

Salary – £168.80 - £232.57 per day

 

Key Responsibilities

-          Excellent delivery of KS3 & KS4 English lessons

-          Use engaging methods to simplify complex topics

-          Contribute to the English department as a whole

-          Provide feedback to learners

What we’re looking for

-          QTS or equivalent UK-recognised teaching qualification

-          Excellent classroom management skills

-          Strong communication skills, dealing with students and other staff members

-          Subject specialism in English

-          Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
