Salary: £28,000 - £43,685 per year

We are Teaching Personnel, and we are thrilled to be recruiting an English Teacher for a ‘Good’ Ofsted rated school located within central Southampton. This oversubscribed 11-16 secondary school provides a fantastic setting for educators who want to make a difference.
Role Overview: As an English Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in students’ education and personal development. English is a core subject, and you’ll have the chance to inspire and support students of all abilities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging English lessons.
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Requirements: To excel in this role, you should have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Strong subject knowledge and previous experience working within a UK secondary school.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Outstanding communication and teamwork abilities.
Additional Information:
- The school is looking for the successful candidate to join them as soon as possible, but they are open to a January start date as an alternative.
- School hours are from 8:15 am to 3:00 pm.
- Planning and marking are part of the role, and all positions are paid to scale.
