Location: Skelmersdale, Lancashire
Start Date: 5th January 2026
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent (or specify if fixed-term)
Salary: MPS/UPS (Dependent on experience)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated English Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive team at a thriving secondary school in Skelmersdale. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or a strong ECT (Early Career Teacher) with a genuine love for literature and language.
About the Role:

Deliver engaging and creative English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

Foster a love for reading, writing, and critical analysis

Contribute to curriculum planning and extracurricular activities

Support students of all abilities to achieve their full potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
