Position: English Teacher
Location: Romford

We are seeking an exceptional English Teacher to join our team of dedicated educators to cover a MAT Leave position. As an English Teacher, you will have the privilege of nurturing students' love for English, fostering critical thinking, and empowering them to become confident communicators.
Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging lessons that promote reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel encouraged to express their ideas.
- Develop and implement effective instructional strategies that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Foster a love for literature by introducing students to a wide range of literary works and guiding meaningful discussions.
- Provide constructive feedback on students' written and oral assignments, helping them refine their language skills.
- Utilise technology and interactive resources to enhance learning experiences and keep students motivated.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans, share best practices, and participate in professional development opportunities.
- Establish strong partnerships with parents/guardians, keeping them informed about students' progress and addressing their concerns.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field.
- Teaching certification of PGCE or QTS
- Demonstrated expertise in English language and literature, with a deep understanding of grammar, composition, and literary analysis.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Passion for teaching and inspiring students to explore and appreciate the beauty of language.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students and create a positive learning environment.
- Ability to effectively integrate technology into instructional practices.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a growth mindset to meet the evolving needs of students and the curriculum.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
