English Teacher

South East England, Berkshire, Reading

£130 - £200 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver English language lessons to students based on the curriculum
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide feedback
  • Create a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement
  • Develop and implement teaching materials and resources
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student learning and development

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in English or a related field

Education:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in English or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong understanding of English language and literature
  • Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans
  • Proficient in classroom management techniques

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with diverse student populations

Working Conditions:

The role involves working in a school setting, following the academic calendar. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, with occasional evening or weekend commitments for school events or parent meetings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
