Full-Time English Teacher – September Start
Location: Preston
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Are you a passionate and dedicated English Teacher looking for a new opportunity this September? We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled English Teacher to join a dynamic and supportive secondary school in Preston.

About the Role:
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring English lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially Key Stage 5, depending on experience). This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative English department with a strong commitment to student achievement and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality English lessons

  • Assess and monitor student progress

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

  • Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development

  • Support the wider school community through extra-curricular activities

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • A strong subject knowledge and passion for English Language and Literature

  • Experience teaching in a secondary school setting

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills

  • A commitment to continuous professional development and high standards
