Teacher of English
Location: Oxford

A highly reputable multi-academy trust is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of English to join the permanent staff of an Ofsted-rated Outstanding secondary school in Oxford. The Role
The successful candidate will:
- Teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach A-Level for suitably qualified candidates.
- Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons that foster a love for literature and language.
- Contribute to the department’s strong track record of academic success.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and enrichment programs.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to uphold the school’s high standards.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in English or a related subject.
- A passion for English and a commitment to delivering outstanding lessons.
- Experience teaching at secondary level, with a proven track record of excellent student outcomes.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- A commitment to professional development and a willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
