Are you a passionate and qualified English teacher seeking a new opportunity from September 2025? A well-regarded secondary school in Oldham, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, is looking to appoint a dedicated English teacher to join their dynamic team.

This is an exciting chance to inspire and engage students, helping them achieve academic success while nurturing a lifelong appreciation for English. You’ll be part of a department committed to delivering high-quality education and supporting every learner to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and creative lessons that enhance students' understanding and enjoyment of English.

  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and academic growth.

  • Prepare pupils effectively for assessments, coursework, and exams to maximise achievement.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary ranging from £32,000 to £47,000, depending on experience.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A fully qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).

  • A degree in English or a related subject.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
