English Teacher – Minehead
Teaching Personnel are working with a secondary school in Minehead who are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join their team on a Maternity Cover basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students’ love for literature and language while contributing to a well-established and supportive English department.
The Role:

Deliver engaging and creative English lessons across KS3 and KS4.

Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with the national curriculum.

Inspire students to develop confidence in reading, writing, and communication.

Work collaboratively within a successful and supportive department.

What You’ll Need:

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent English teaching qualification.

Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for English literature and language.

Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.

A commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
