Job description

Part-Time English Teacher – Maidstone

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school located centrally in Maidstone. This is a part-time opportunity, ideal for someone who is passionate about inspiring students and helping them achieve their full potential in English.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and effective English lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Work collaboratively with the school’s English department

  • Support pupils in developing confidence and progress in both written and spoken English

  • Contribute to the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching English within a secondary school setting

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • Flexible, reliable and committed to supporting student achievement

Position Details:

  • Location: Central Maidstone

  • Hours: Part-time

  • Start: ASAP

  • Pay: Competitive, based on experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
