English Teacher needed.

We are currently recruiting for a fantastic Catholic secondary school based in Hounslow. The school is a Catholic community inspired by Gospel values where relationships are rooted in love.

Full time

Location: Hounslow

Pay rate: £140 - £180

Start date: October 2023

The ideal candidate:

  • Will be passionate and understanding.
  • Will have up to date knowledge of the national curriculum for English.
  • Commitment to inclusive learning and developing the potential of each individual student.
  • Will encourage students to be involved in lessons and share their views and ideas.
  • Will promote high achievement and outstanding academic success.

Responsibilities:

  • Mark students work.
  • Plan and present lessons.
  • Document and report on students’ progress.
  • Be enthusiastic when teaching to encourage students to be excited about English as a subject.
  • Ensure teaching responds to curriculum development in an exciting and innovating way.
  • Provide an environment where individual learners thrive as confident, independent and informed citizens of the future.

Qualifications required:

  • QTS
  • PGCE
  • Previous in school experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
