Boost Exam Confidence – Become a 1:1 English Tutor (Start ASAP!)
Are you an English specialist with a passion for helping students succeed in their exams?
TP Tutors is seeking motivated and knowledgeable English Tutors to provide focused 1:1 support to pupils preparing for their upcoming GCSE and SATs exams. With an immediate start, this role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the final stretch of the academic year.
What You’ll Do:
• Deliver targeted English tuition to help pupils revise and prepare for key exams
• Focus on improving reading comprehension, writing structure, grammar, and exam techniques
• Support learners 1:1 in face-to-face sessions – either at home, in libraries, or other local venues
• Build student confidence by revisiting key topics and boosting understanding of tricky areas
• Monitor progress and adapt sessions to meet individual learning goals
What We’re Looking For:
• Experience teaching or tutoring English at KS2, KS3 or GCSE level
• Confident in covering exam-style questions and assessment objectives
• Strong ability to break down complex ideas and help students develop exam strategies
• An encouraging, organised, and results-focused teaching approach
• Proven ability to boost confidence and close knowledge gaps in a short time frame
Requirements:
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply – we can support this)
• Previous experience working with students towards SATs or GCSEs
• Right to work in the UK
• Commitment to safeguarding and academic excellence

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
