English Teacher – Haringey, North London
Teaching Personnel are recruiting an English Teacher to work in a popular school in the North London area. The teacher will be needed to start in September/October 2023 with the opportunity this could last for the whole academic year. Teachers of all experience levels will be considered for the role and payment will be considered based on this experience level.
The English Teacher would be required to work with both KS3 and GSSE classes working towards a busy examination period that will happen in the summer months. The school demands that the teacher is confident and efficient when it comes to behaviour management. The school has only been active for 7 years serving much of its local community, which is reflected by the population diversity of pupils.
To commute to the school, it is based in the city centre so the commute via public transport should be easy. Bus and underground services stop at the nearby stations with good connections to central and other parts of north London.
The role
- Payments will be subject to the teachers’ pay scale, based on experience level.
- The school is in the North London area.
- English Teaching position.
- The teacher must have experience leading pupils through a busy examination period.
- Payments are made on a weekly basis, with this being made a week in arrears.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
