Position: English Teacher
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time (currently until Christmas 2025 but has potential to continue past this point)
Seeking a passionate, dedicated, and innovative English Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive teaching team. If you have a love for language and literature, and the ability to ignite that same enthusiasm in young minds, we want to hear from you.
About the Role
You will:

Teach English across KS3 and KS4
- Teaching students with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH) and other associated difficulties.

Deliver engaging and creative lessons that challenge and support all learners

Contribute to a dynamic and collaborative English department

Play a part in the wider life of the school, including extracurricular opportunities
What We’re Looking For
-
A qualified teacher (QTS) with a degree in English or a related field. If you don't have QTS but have extensive experience teaching English, you will still be considered
- At least one year experience teaching English in the UK.

A strong classroom practitioner with high expectations for students of all abilities

A team player with excellent communication and organisational skills
- Excellent behaviour management skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
