Role: Teacher of English

Location: Crawley

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Hours: Full Time

A successful and innovative Secondary School based in the Crawley area, are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Teacher of English to start in September.

 You will be an innovative teacher who is passionate about your subject. You will be joining an experienced and supportive team who are committed to helping students reach their full potential.

The school are seeking an inspirational teacher to join their progressive English department. You will be joining a forward-thinking team who are always looking for ways to innovate and excite students. 

The successful candidate will proactively contribute to the on-going development of the department.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a passion for English and the ability to share this and inspire young people.
  • Commitment to the excellent delivery of English at KS3 & KS4 and Learning of Language and Literature
  • Be someone with the belief that all children can make outstanding progress
  • Have outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Be committed to making English an exciting and enjoyable subject for all our students
  • Strive to assist all our students to reach their full potential
  • Be a team player who thrives on working collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Be commitment to developing in role through proactive engagement with CPD and own learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
