Part-Time English Teacher – Secondary School, Christchurch 
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Part-Time (3 days per week) | Long-term or permanent opportunity
Location: Christchurch, Dorset
Salary: MPS/UPS – Dependent on experience

Are you an enthusiastic and creative English Teacher looking for a rewarding part-time role? A supportive and high-achieving secondary school in Christchurch is seeking a passionate educator to join their English department from September 2025.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to teach English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4 in a school that values high standards and student-centred learning. You will work alongside a strong team of educators who are committed to delivering an engaging and inclusive English curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons

  • Differentiate instruction to support all levels of learners

  • Monitor, assess, and report on student progress

  • Contribute to departmental planning and school initiatives

  • Inspire a love of reading, writing, and communication

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK

  • Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4

  • A passion for English and a commitment to student success

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • Available for 3 days per week from September
