A community school, based Cardiff are currently looking to appoint an English Teacher to start after October half term until the end of the academic year.
For the right English Teacher this role may become permanent with the school looking to offer a contract after a successful probation period next year. Working in a large sized comprehensive school which is at the heart of the local community the need for attention to detail and pupil care is paramount. After what has been a very turbulent time for schools due to lockdowns it is important you are able to build relationships with staff and pupils and hit the ground running with your Teaching ability.
The school:
- Large Sized Community school that promotes outreach programmes to integrate the school within the community
- Fantastic school ethos with an inspirational Head Teacher that is looking to raise the schools profile and drive the schools values
-Located on the outskirts of Cardiff
-Easy access by car or bus (parking on-site)
The Role
-Full Time Teaching Position Mon- Fri
-Nov Start Date
-Competitive rates of pay starting at £157 per day (inline with Welsh govt. Teacher Framework)
-Full teaching responsibilities including exam prep and interventions when required
-Own form group responsibilities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
