Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join a welcoming and forward-thinking campus in Bournemouth. This is a full-time role with an immediate start, teaching pupils aged 5 to 12 within a primary setting.

This position is temporary for the academic year, with a strong potential to become a full-time permanent role for the right candidate.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and delivering engaging English lessons aligned with the primary curriculum

  • Supporting pupils aged 5 to 12 to develop confidence in reading, writing and communication

  • Assessing progress and adapting teaching to meet individual learning needs

  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment

  • Working closely with colleagues, support staff and leadership


Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching English at primary level

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • Ability to commit to a full-time role for the academic year

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
