English Teacher – Secondary School | Bournemouth | Immediate Start

Are you a passionate and driven English Teacher looking for your next exciting opportunity? We are proud to be working with a well-respected mainstream secondary school in Bournemouth that is seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join their dynamic team immediately.

This is a full-time role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

About the Role:

You will be joining a vibrant English department committed to delivering engaging and inspiring lessons. The school has a strong focus on academic achievement, student wellbeing, and professional development. You’ll be teaching KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to contribute to GCSE preparation and curriculum development.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified English Teacher with at least one year of UK teaching experience.

  • A strong classroom presence with the ability to motivate and engage learners of all abilities.

  • Someone who brings energy, creativity, and commitment to their teaching practice.

Requirements:

  • UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.

  • A valid enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).

  • Availability to start immediately.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
