Job description

Teacher of English – Full-Time | September 2025 Start | Bournemouth

A forward-thinking secondary school on the south coast of Bournemouth is seeking an ambitious and dedicated Teacher of English to join their vibrant department from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent position, ideal for either an experienced practitioner or an ECT ready to make their mark.

The successful candidate will:

  • Teach English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4.

  • Deliver consistently high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge pupils of all abilities.

  • Be a strong communicator who thrives in a collaborative environment.

  • Show a genuine passion for literature and language, encouraging a lifelong love of reading in students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
