English Teacher - Basingstoke - September 2019
Job description
This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...
Teaching Personnel are currently working with a very successful secondary school who are looking to hire a part time English teacher on a full time contract to start at the school in September 2019.
The relevant English teacher would need to be part time and preferably experienced working in the secondary state sector of education. The best candidate would be a teacher of English to KS4 with QTS and recent relevant experience.
This Basingstoke school is rated Good by Ofsted who have said "Pupils are confident and articulate. They value their learning and display very positive attitudes. They are proud to be members of the school." Having visited the school I can honestly say it is a place where both pupils and staff love to be at school. The school has a very open feeling to it where staff feel that they can really be honest with the school as to exactly what they would like and the school are willing to be flexible to accommodate the needs of its teachers.
Located off the M3 it is easily reachable from Reading, Winchester, Southampton and London with excellent rail routes and local buses running throughout the peak times.
To be successful you must have or be willing to provide a DBS on the update service and relevant references.
Please apply by sending your up to date CV and covering statement outlining relevant experiences, skills and qualifications or call 02380 331 441 for more information about this role.
