English Graduate Jobs In Manchester

If you are a recent English graduate, looking to earn up to £38,633, all while receiving up to 13 weeks holiday a year, then becoming a teacher is the perfect career option for you.

Before becoming an English teacher it is vital that you gain experience within schools as an English graduate. Doing so will not only give you very valuable experience and help you develop skills for later in your career, but it will also give you the perfect opportunity to network within the schools and gain vital contacts for a successful career in teaching.

Duties as an English graduate in schools:

  • Assisting in the delivery of teaching to English pupils
  • Helping students to reach their potential by developing their knowledge of English
  • Feedback to department about pupil development as well as feedback to pupils to support their learning
  • Assist pupils in any learning, behavioural or emotional problems that they may be effecting their learning

Skills Needed:

  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Good time management
  • Self Motivated
