Teaching Personnel are now recruiting for exciting full-time educational support assistant for one of our schools in Oxford!
My school in Oxford are situated on lovely wide open grounds with lots of space for the children to explore. The buildings are beautiful with lots of character; they also have animals on site which gives the children a good sense of care and achievement by bring responsible for them. They have chickens, a dog, rabbits, fish and even a snake!
There is also another building they have which has a huge gym which gives the children plenty of room to play sports and let of some steam! They have a specialist science lab and a very modern ICT suite.
This is a school which caters for students on the Autistic Spectrum and Social Emotional Mental Health, the classes are very small and you will be supported by a main teacher and a specialist support assistant. We are very much looking for a nurturing person to join this school who is aspiring to grow and thrive with them.
Teaching Personnel have a number of online training courses and the school are also willing to support with any Educational training and offer CPD training in school.
The type of candidates we are looking for would include some of the following:
- Someone with experience in SEN
- Someone with experience with supporting/mentoring children in and out of the classroom setting
- Someone who may have other skills such as sports skills, arts skills, or passionate in other subjects even mechanical or woodwork!
- Someone who has personal experience with children, perhaps have their own children!
- You will be required to have basic GCSE’s or above
- Perhaps you have finished university and aspire to work with children but have not yet had the experience?
